before: gitrepo vs git packages
after: git package fully handle all git operations
by the way, use `WithRepo(repo)` instead of `WithDir(repo.Path)` to hide
path details.
benefits:
1. remove all unnecessary wrappers, developers no need to struggle with
"which package should be used"
2. simplify code, RepositoryFacade can (will) be used everywhere, all
"path" details are (will be) hidden
Removed `gitrepo.RunCmd*` functions, because gitcmd.Command works with
Repository directly.
Move some "local filesystem" related function into "localfs.go"
Blob.Size requires a context after the repository context removal
(5b078f72aa).
Actually the template code should just render, it should not depend on
the fragile dynamic calls to backend functions.

2. Make the commit & tree cacheable (for the future performance
optimization)
3. Also fix some bad designs like `// FIXME: bad design, this field can

Compare API requests with a `^` or `~N` revision suffix (for example
`compare/main...feature^`) were rejected with `400 Unsupported
comparison syntax: ref with suffix`. The fix resolves the suffix to a
commit before comparing, so `base...head^` and `~N` work on either side,
the same as git.
Only `^`/`~N` navigation is resolved. Pull request creation still
requires plain branch refs, and the web compare page keeps rejecting
suffixes since its branch selectors need separate UI work.
Closes#33943
## Summary
Adds `GET
/repos/{owner}/{repo}/compare/{basehead}.{diffType:diff|patch}`,
mirroring the existing `/git/commits/{sha}.{diffType}` endpoint but for
comparisons between two arbitrary refs.
The new endpoint streams a raw unified diff or `git format-patch` output
between any two refs:
GET /repos/{owner}/{repo}/compare/main...feature.diff
GET /repos/{owner}/{repo}/compare/v1.0..v1.1.patch
GET /repos/{owner}/{repo}/compare/abc1234...def5678.diff
Resolves#5561, #13416 and #17165.

Parse `Co-authored-by:` trailers from commit messages and surface
contributors as an avatar stack across the commit page, commits list, PR
commits tab, latest-commit row, blame, graph, and dashboard feed.
- Up to 10 visible 20px avatars, GitHub-style overlap (6px first stride,
4px between subsequent), `+N` chip for the rest.
- Label: 1 → name; 2 → `<a> and <b>`; 3+ → `<N> people` opens a Tippy
popup with all participants.
- Names and avatars link to the repo's commits-by-author search; fall
back to profile or `mailto:`.
- Trailer parsing uses `net/mail.ParseAddress`, scans only the trailing
paragraph, filters out the commit's own author/committer.
- Drops the non-standard `Co-committed-by:` emission on squash merge and
web edits.
Devtest: `/devtest/coauthor-avatars`.

`[repository.pull-request]` with three values:

The `Repository` struct in `services/context/repo.go` embedded
`access_model.Permission` anonymously, causing all permission methods to
be promoted directly onto `Repository`. This made it unclear at call
sites whether a method belonged to `Repository` itself or to its
embedded `Permission`.
### Changes
- **`services/context/repo.go`**: Replace anonymous
`access_model.Permission` with named field `Permission
access_model.Permission`
- **49 files** updated to route permission method calls through the
named field:
```go
// Before
ctx.Repo.IsAdmin()
ctx.Repo.CanWrite(unit.TypeCode)
ctx.Repo.CanReadIssuesOrPulls(isPull)
slices.ContainsFunc(unitTypes, ctx.Repo.CanWrite)
// After
ctx.Repo.Permission.IsAdmin()
ctx.Repo.Permission.CanWrite(unit.TypeCode)
ctx.Repo.Permission.CanReadIssuesOrPulls(isPull)
slices.ContainsFunc(unitTypes, ctx.Repo.Permission.CanWrite)
```
Methods defined directly on `*Repository` (`CanWriteToBranch`,
`CanCreateBranch`, etc.) are unchanged.

Use shared repo permission resolution for Actions task users in issue
label remove and clear paths, and add a regression test for deleting
issue labels with a Gitea Actions token.
This fixes issue label deletion when the request is authenticated with a
Gitea Actions token.
Fixes#37011
The bug was that the delete path re-resolved repository permissions
using the normal user permission helper, which does not handle Actions
task users. As a result, `DELETE
/api/v1/repos/{owner}/{repo}/issues/{index}/labels/{id}` could return
`500` for Actions tokens even though label listing and label addition
worked.

* Improve diff rendering, don't add unnecessary "added"/"removed" tags for a full-line change

* Use chroma "SQL" lexer instead of "MySQL" to workaround a bug (35999)
This adds a per-repository default PR base branch and wires it through
PR entry points. It updates compare links and recently pushed branch
prompts to respect the configured base branch, and prevents auto-merge
cleanup from deleting the configured base branch on same-repo PRs.
## Behavior changes
- New PR compare links on repo home/issue list and branch list honor the
configured default PR base branch.
- The "recently pushed new branches" prompt now compares against the
configured base branch.
- Auto-merge branch cleanup skips deleting the configured base branch
(same-repo PRs only).

Partially fix#32018
`git config` and `git remote` write operations create a temporary file
named `config.lock`. Since these operations are not atomic, they must
not be run in parallel. If two requests attempt to modify the same
repository concurrently—such as during a compare operation—one may fail
due to the presence of an existing `config.lock` file.
In cases where `config.lock` is left behind due to an unexpected program
exit, a global lock mechanism could allow us to safely remove the stale
lock file when a related error is detected. While this behavior is not
yet implemented in this PR, it is planned for a future enhancement.

Currently, Gitea supports title and body query parameters when creating
new issues, allowing pre-filling those fields via URL parameters.
However, similar support for pull requests (PRs) does not exist.
This feature adds support for the title, body, and quick_pull query
parameters in the new pull request creation page. These parameters work
similarly to GitHub’s behavior, allowing users to pre-populate the PR
title and body, and optionally expand the PR creation form
automatically.
By supporting these query parameters, it improves the usability and
automation capabilities when creating pull requests via direct URLs,
aligning Gitea more closely with GitHub’s user experience.

The diff stats are no longer part of the diff generation.
Use `GetDiffShortStat` instead to get the total number of changed files,
added lines, and deleted lines.
As such, `gitdiff.GetDiff` can be simplified:
It should not do more than expected.
And do not run "git diff --shortstat" for pull list. Fix#31492
Modify Diff View FileTree to show all files
## Changes
* removes Show Status button on diff
* uses `git diff-tree` to generate the file tree for the diff
* doesn't reload the diff tree each time we load more files in the
preview
* selecting and unloaded file will keep loading until that file is
loaded
* removes `DiffFileList.vue` and "Show Stats" in diff options
## Open Questions
* selecting and unloaded file will keep loading until that file is
loaded. Is this behaviour okay? It matches what github does.
### Demo
In this demo I set `git.MAX_GIT_DIFF_FILES=1` in my `app.ini` to
demonstrate a worst case example. In most cases the behaviour isn't
nearly as jarring as we load a bunch of files at a time.

When listing commits, Gitea attempts to retrieve the actual user based
on the commit email. Querying users one by one from the database is
inefficient. This PR optimizes the process by batch querying users by
email, reducing the number of database queries.
